Interreg Central Baltic Program project: Safety and hygiene – safer environment (SAFHY)

Total cost of the project: EUR 1, 800, 000.
The share for Järvamaa Vocational Education Center in total cost was: 108,333 Euros.

Target group: Health care education and training institutions/organizations, cleaning companies.

Aim and outcome: Aimed to promote knowledge of hygiene development and learning opportunities in the field of health care and cleaning services. For that, developing multilingual digital learning material that can be used in both vocational training and training of new employees in the labor market, as well as in-service training of existing employees. The digital teaching material, focusing on hygiene, will be developed together with Finnish and Estonian experts in the field of vocational training, health care and cleaning services.

European Social Fund: "Training" Noting Special Educational Needs and Supporting SEN Students in School "

When and where: Training was conducted in 2017.
In April, 2017, 20 teachers and support staff from 20 Järvamaa Vocational Education Centres and 10 Nurme School took part.

Funded: The project was funded by the European Social Fund.
Total budget EUR 2 991.95.

Target group: Professional Development of Teachers and School Leaders” in the “Competent and Motivated Teachers and Heads of Educational Programs” Program Call Activity “Learning Event between Educational Institutions to Implement Principles of Inclusive Education”.

Aim and outcome: Knowledge and skills acquired through training will enable teachers and support staff to better manage and support SEN learners. Thanks to this, participation in teaching and coping with pupils with special needs improves in teaching. When and where: 16.-17. November 2017 at Järva County Vocational Training Centre (JKHK)
Target group: 12-hour training for 60 JKHK employees was organized.

Aim and outcome: To improve the quality of vocational education at school. According to the school development plan 2016-2020, one of the important challenges is to “improve the quality of internship organization, which is the training of supervisors and recognition of internships”

“Developing Leadership Leadership and Leadership Leadership at the Management Board of Järva County Vocational Training Centre”

When and where: 01.10.2017-15.01.2018, Järva County Vocational Training Centre.

Funded: The project budget was 4 500 euros. The project was funded by the European Social Fund.

Target group: Specialist, managers and teachers

Aim: The project was presented in the Call for Proposals “School-based School Team Learning Event” announced for the implementation of “Joint Learning of School Teams for the Implementation of Educational Innovations”.
Outcome: Leaders of the Järva County Vocational Training Centre and members of the management (10 people) took part in a short training course “From Specialist to Manager” and the participants were given a 360 degree feedback process, during which each participant received feedback on his / her activities as a manager from his / her superior, subordinates and colleagues.

When and where: October 2017-February 2018 at Järva County Vocational Training Centre

Funded: The budget for the project is EUR 9,997.95. The project is funded by the European Social Fund.

Target group: Teachers

Aim and outcome of the project is to develop the organizational culture of the school in such a way that a refreshing learning concept and modern learning methods would find the way to every lesson. This will be accomplished by 2017/18. As a result of the project, at least 35 teachers from Järva County Vocational Training Centre were renewed.
