Electricians construct new electrical systems, repair old systems or maintain electrical installations. In addition, they build external power lines and install streetlights.

This job requires physical stamina, precise and coordinated movements, a good state of health that corresponds to the tasks, including normal vision and hearing, as well as readiness to work in high places. Successful work is supported by tenacity, emotional stability, concentration, adaptability, and analysis skills.

There is always a high demand for electricians because hundreds of thousands of homes need maintenance of electrical systems in addition to installations in new buildings.
